Who is the Greenest Leadership Candidate?

Most people would likely say St├ęphane Dion Dion, or possibly Michael Ignatieff with his carbon tax, but not the prestigious Sun Media Chain.

According to the Edmonton Sun:

"Gerard Kennedy, the greenest, most left-wing of the candidates running for the leadership of the federal Liberals"

It is interesting across the country how view points can be so different.

It was in an article about nuclear power being used to fuel oilsands development.

Now, I have always found it weird that we use a clean fuel gas, to make oil in the oilsands. I think whatever can be done to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and free up gas to sell to people at the same time has to be winnner. Nuclear waste isn't so hard to manage, and is an easier problem to fix the global climate change.

  • Interesting, thanks for that.

One of the reasons for my consistent support for Ignatieff is actually because of his green plan.

Its look like Kennedy is finally offering some substance to all of his grandiose talk of enterprising liberalism. Good for him.

Although, Im not sure if I would want to be called "the most left winged", especially in a province like Alberta.

  • Umm.... I'm supposed to take this post seriously when you refer to the Sun media chain as "prestigious"?

Oh ... maybe all those Sunshine Girls are half naked because of global warming....
